As more and more common folk flock to the iPad, restaurant and bar owners are wisely trying capture its uniqueness, sustainability and supreme functionality. New York City's
South Gate restaurant converted their wine list into the browser-friendly format. Many restaurants have opted for paper-free wine lists (SD26 and Aureole), but each have turned out to be subjectively cumbersome and the diners often default to a real live sommelier.
iPad apps and overall user functionality will continue improving to educate and satisfy drinkers in the quickest way possible.
