Something's fishy about this movie

Two things you never thought you'd see happen - 1) you as a movie star and 2) smoked salmon flavored vodka. Well, lucky you, because all your dreams are about to come true.

Alaska Distillery, home of the new smoked salmon flavored vodka (it's worth repeating), is conducting a video contest where you and your favorite lox liquor are the stars. The rest is up to you. The winner gets 500 big ones (that's dollars not fish). If you're looking for inspiration check out last year's winner of the 2009 Permafrost vodka contest. It truly defies explanation.

As bartending becomes more about presentation, mixologists now must concentrate of the fine art of the shaker face. The "shaker face" is, as you've probably guessed, is the face bartenders make when they're shaking a cocktail. And now there's a whole site dedicated to finding which mixologist makes the best (or worst) face. Visit their site to vote on the quarter final submissions of Chris Churilla of Loca Luna and Tom Speechley from 1806 Melbourne.
